Randy Lewis of the L.A. Times picks The Seduction of Ingmar Bergman as one of his top 10 albums of the year! "Their song cycle, operatic in its musical and conceptual scope, follows Bergman from his 1956 international breakthrough at Cannes through a comically fantastical journey to Hollywood, where the forces of commerce and blind avarice wage a battle for Bergman's artistic soul. If Broadway's looking for a modern day musical of real invention and substance, this is it." Click here to purchase the album from Sparks or here from itunes.

The Seduction of Ingmar Bergman, the latest musical venture by American rock and pop band Sparks that features Rebecca as the "Hollywood Starlet" received five stars by Andy Gill in The Independent. Including the record among his 20 albums of the year, Gill wrote: "Sharply scripted, with that sly, knowing touch so typical of Sparks, it's also scored with scrupulous intelligence, the arrangements drawing on a range of apt influences, from Kurt Weill to jazz, pop and rock, and the orchestrations ingeniously duplicitous, wistful and sinister, as the action dictates. It may well turn out to be the pinnacle of Sparks' career, and certainly has an ambition well beyond the usual remit of popular culture."
